Ambush Notes

Friday we had some nice weather to shoot side matches and everyone had fun with the 22 shooting gallery with rifle and pistol, the derringer match, and the Buffalo Shoot with big bore and main match rifles.

We shot scenarios from Clint Eastwood movies. These were challenging but fun as there were lines and bonuses on some and one stage included directions on when to drop and pick up your hat. This was made even more challenging in the morning as it was raining and we had to do all the shooting from under the range cover. Thanks to all who helped with canopies and set up and take down!!

We had fun on Saturday with the Derringer Drawing that Mac Traven won and we raised $137 for the SASS Scholarship Fund!

We had fun giving away door prizes and certificates at the end of Dinner on Saturday.

On Sunday we did some four and three man team shooting. Also On Sunday we had guest, of Cameron and Jimmy Spencer who tried out cowboy shooting as buckaroos.

Wild Horse Mike had 4 clean stages; Duke Duncan and T.W. Reynolds had 3 clean stages each. Jack Jones had 2 clean stages and the following each had 1 clean stage: Buck Johnson, Aravaipa Al, Cock-eyed Cate, and Desperado Dan.
