February Results
Attendees: Mac Traven, Bonnie Lass, Red Beard, Seneca Lake and T.W. Reynolds
We met at Mac and Bonnie’s house to discuss what we need to do this year to continue to grow our club. Due to a shoulder injury Mac Traven will not be building targets. Mac Traven’s shoulder is healing. We need assistance with target building. We will definitely be building target stands during the March meeting. Please come and help with your club!
February Notes
We will be working on making legs for targets that were donated this year so that they will be off the ground. T.W. brought bed frames to cut up and use for this project. Thank-you, T.W.!
We decided to add a big bore and derringer using stage to each match so we can use them if you have them. Derringer scenarios will always have the derringer off the clock and it will be a bonus if done. The stage with the big bore, will have one shot that you may shoot with a big bore rifle or single load your main match rifle, it will be on the clock for everyone, and it will be a bonus. These will not be used during the Ambush at Hickory Ridge.
We have Custom Catering to do the catering for our cowboy feast at the Ambush at Hickory Ridge.

Ken Van Sant of Van Sant Productions was at the 2009 three day match and videod people who were in attendance for a 30 minute video that he put on the air on local channel 13. Ken Van Sant has given a couple of copies of the video to use for loan purposes.

The Ambush at Hickory Ridge will be August 5, 6, and 7, 2011 Please register to make sure that you have a spot!
We will be doing a Clint Eastwood Movie theme for the 12th Annual Ambush at Hickory Ridge. If you have a specific scene or movie you want to have in the Ambush let Bonnie or Mac know. We will be looking at the following movies for ideas at the moment: Fist Full of Dollars, A Few Dollars More, Jose Wales, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Pale Rider and Unforgiven.
Jeremiah Longknife has offered to teach a shooting course to help shooters improve their shooting. He is willing to donate his time. The club will charge $5 for each shooter taking the course, the money will stay with the club. If you are interested in shooting this course please let Bonnie Lass know by July 1st so that we can prepare the range for the number of shooters taking the course.
